Black nail polish trends

Amongst the many fashion trends, not many are as pronounced as black nail polish trends. In ancient times black nail polish was a sign of lavish living and loyalty. Color was used to identify social ranking in China with the ordinary people enjoying shades of pink while red and black colors were for the royals. Later on the most common colors were ranging from sweet pastels to raging neons while the black color receded into obscurity. Then came the rock stars such as Freddy Mercury who resuscitated the black nail polish. In these days black nail polish trends have shifted, the color is increasingly becoming common. A lot of movie stars have been photographed putting on the black nail polish. Although this gives the impression associated with a naughty girl, it`s still quite fashionable and trendy. Even the big nail polish trends setters like Chanel and OPI are offering their own types of black nail polish.
